چکیده

The aim of the study was to investigate species diversity AM fungi in different parts North Caucasus, biodiversity hotspot, center world’s biological diversity. Samples were taken from 5 locations (stationary trial plots, STPs) ecosystems and at various altitudes. Identification performed using sequencing for ITS1 ITS2 regions, amplified with universal primers, Illumina MiSeq employed. 19 genera found on all STPs. work did not reveal a correlation between altitude composition fungi. At same time, it should be assumed that could type ecosystem, which done future. shows is necessary use an analysis both ITS since data obtained each region differ complement other. Analysis revealed 1.3 times more virtual taxa than ITS1, while number OTUs identified per similar regions. highest STP #3 (with meadow flora). Only 4 ( Rhizophagus irregularis, R. intraradices, Paraglomus laccatum, Claroideoglomus claroideum ) five analyzed We unexpectedly such high among fungi, no genus, sequences belonged laccatum , whereas least 9 are distinguished genus by morphology. Further research will allow us identify new strains efficiency may higher already studied ones. In future this make possible create effective microbial biofertilizers agriculture.

Role of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (AM) Fungi in Phytoremediation of Soils Contaminated: A Review

Pollution of the soil environment with toxic materials from fossil burning, mining and smelting of metalliferous ores, disposal of sewage, fertilizers and pesticides, etc. has increased dramatically since the onset of industrial revolution. Application of plants with ability of absorbing heavy metals is a low-cost alternative for eliminating soils from heavy metals. Phytoremediation uses plants...

Development of new molecular markers for phylogeny and molecular identification of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (Glomeromycota)

Because of the high genetic variability of the nuclear-encoded ribosomal RNA genes within single spores of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF, Glomeromycota), new alternative marker genes are needed to better resolve closely related taxa. Based on published nucleotide sequences of the mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit (mt-LSU), new fungal-specific primers were constructed and successfully us...

Growth model for arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

In order to quantify the contribution of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi to plant phosphorus nutrition, the development and extent of the external fungal mycelium and its nutrient uptake capacity are of particular importance. We develop and analyse a model of the growth of AM fungi associated with plant roots, suitable for describing mechanistically the effects of the fungi on solute uptake b...

INTRODUCTION OF SOME NEW ARBUSCULAR-MYCORRHIZAL FUNGI (AMF) FROM CITRUS RHIZOSPHERE OF IRAN

During 2001-2002, a total number of 164 soil-root samples were collected from citrus orchards of six provinces, namely, Fars, Gilan, Mazandaran, Kerman, Hormozgan and Sistan va Baloochestan. Soil samples were decanted and centrifuged and spores were collected and examined. Out of 23 identified species, five species were recognized new to Iran mycoflora. New species are as follows: Gomus albidum...
